Legal Practice AI Suite
A multi-tenant assistant over a firm's practice-management system, with read-only access and isolation enforced at build time.
The problem
Attorneys sit on years of matter data inside a practice-management system and can't ask it a plain question. The obvious fix — point an AI at the database — is exactly the wrong architecture for a law firm, where one firm's data reaching another isn't an incident, it's an ethics problem.
What we built
- Multi-tenant chat over practice-management data on Postgres
- Read-only access to the source system, enforced at the integration layer
- Per-firm isolation enforced by the build, not by a runtime role check
- Companion practice-management tooling scoped so that trust accounting is integrated rather than rebuilt
Where it stands
- Isolation and read-only posture are compile-time guarantees, not conventions
- In active development toward firm pilots
In legal software the architecture decision is the product decision.
